Terms of Use
Last updated: August 6, 2026 • Effective for defencenewsnexus.in
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using defencenewsnexus.in. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site. This page is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Defence News Nexus (the "Site"), operated as an independent individual/sole-proprietor venture. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any future amendments.
2. Nature of the Service
Defence News Nexus is an autonomous, AI-assisted news aggregation and commentary platform covering Indian defense, aerospace, and geopolitical developments. Articles are produced through an automated pipeline that gathers publicly available reporting, applies AI-assisted rewriting, summarisation, and narration, and publishes the result with limited or no real-time human editorial review before publication.
The Site is not a registered newspaper, wire service, or licensed broadcaster under Indian press law, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Armed Forces, DRDO, HAL, or any Government of India body. See our Disclaimer for more detail.
3. No Professional or Official Advice
Nothing on the Site constitutes official government communication, military guidance, investment advice, or professional advice of any kind. Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
4. Accuracy Disclaimer
Given the automated nature of the Site and the fast-moving subject matter it covers, we make reasonable efforts toward accuracy but do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free. Defense, military, and geopolitical developments can change rapidly or be subject to conflicting reporting; verify anything critical against primary or official sources before relying on it.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site's original compiled presentation, layout, branding ("Defence News Nexus", "DNN"), and AI-generated commentary/narration are the property of Defence News Nexus, except where explicitly credited otherwise. Underlying factual reporting referenced or summarised from third-party sources remains the property of its respective owners - see our Copyright Policy.
You may share links to our articles. You may not scrape, systematically republish, or redistribute substantial portions of Site content without prior written permission.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation (including automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, or attempts to bypass security), or to submit false, abusive, or malicious content via any form on the Site (including the Grievance Redressal form).
7. Third-Party Links & Embedded Video
The Site may link to or embed third-party content, including source articles and YouTube videos. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site or service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, Defence News Nexus and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on any content published on it.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Defence News Nexus and its operator from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
12. Contact
