The 13th edition of the bilateral maritime exercise SLINEX-26, conducted between the Indian and Sri Lankan navies, has come to a close. The exercise, which kicked off on September 17, saw the two navies participating in a range of activities, including seamanship evolutions, air operations, night replenishment at sea, and special forces drills.
The harbour phase of the exercise featured professional exchanges, cross-deck visits, Underway Replenishment (UNREP) training, and yoga and sporting interactions. The Indian Navy's Fleet Tanker, INS Jyoti, and the indigenous Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvette, INS Kavaratti, participated in the exercise, alongside the Sri Lankan Naval Ship Sindurala.
