Jammu and Kashmir Security Forces Deal Major Blow to LeT Network\n\nIn a significant development, Indian security forces have eliminated Musa, a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander, in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This operation marks a major blow to the LeT network in the Union Territory.\n\nMusa's death brings the total neutralized senior LeT commanders to four since 2022. These commanders were responsible for several high-profile attacks, including the Halan attack in August 2023, the DKG attack in December 2023, and the Kandi attack in May 2023.\n\nThe remaining three terrorists from this group were killed by security forces in separate encounters. Junaid Bhat was eliminated on December 3, 2024, in Dachigam, while Suleman was killed on July 28, 2025, in Operation Mahadev. Yasir was neutralized on September 4, 2026, in Operation Asdhar.\n\nThis encounter was part of a longer operation to eliminate Musa, who had been a target for Indian security forces for a long time. Recently, after receiving technical and human intelligence about his movements and presence, a comprehensive plan was developed to eliminate him.\n\nThe killing of Musa by Indian security forces is a significant achievement for the security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir. The operation showcases the effectiveness of coordinated anti-terrorism efforts by J&K Police, Indian Army, and CAPF.\n\nIn recent years, all the security agencies have been carrying out anti-terrorism operations in coordination, which has yielded positive results. The success of these operations is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.\n\nThe elimination of Musa and other senior LeT commanders is a significant blow to the LeT network in the Union Territory. It highlights the effectiveness of the security forces in disrupting the terrorist infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir.\n\nAs the security forces continue to work towards eliminating the remaining terrorist groups in the region, the people of Jammu and Kashmir can take comfort in the knowledge that their security forces are committed to protecting them from terrorist threats.\n\nIn conclusion, the elimination of Musa, a senior LeT commander, is a significant achievement for the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
