Indian Air Force Unveils RUDRA, a Revolutionary Runway-Launched Loitering Munition

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has recently showcased its latest indigenous innovation, the RUDRA, a cutting-edge loitering munition designed to provide the force with a new long-range, reusable-launch-infrastructure-compatible option for striking high-value targets. This groundbreaking concept incorporates an aircraft-like airframe, conventional runway take-off capability, and a compact micro-turbojet engine, setting it apart from smaller loitering munitions launched from tubes, rails, or pneumatics.
