India's Quest for Self-Reliance in Air-to-Air Refueling

The Air-to-Air Refueling Pod will be designed to be compatible with multiple receiver aircraft, including the C-17 and C-130J transport aircraft. This will enable the IAF to use the pod as a makeshift inflight refueling solution in wartime operations. The development of an indigenous Air-to-Air Refueling Pod will also provide a strategic advantage to the IAF, enabling it to operate for longer periods and cover greater distances.
