Exercise Veer Guardian 2026: A Showcase of Bilateral Air Defense Cooperation

The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) recently concluded Exercise Veer Guardian 2026, a bilateral air defense exercise held at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The exercise, which took place from September 9 to September 22, aimed to enhance the interoperability and cooperation between the two air forces.

One of the highlights of the exercise was the sortie taken by IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh and JASDF Chief of Staff General Takehiro Morita in a Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Trainer aircraft.
