The Challenge of the Ka-31 Fleet

The Navy's traditional preference for larger airborne early warning aircraft is being re-evaluated due to operational limitations on India's STOBAR aircraft carriers, INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya, which lack catapult-assisted launch systems and arrested recovery equipment.
